Counsel #4 — Elemental Creation

Picture: Counsel #4 — Elemental Creation CSe 29.1

Life is possible because God created two amazing components. One of these super components is water. The compound molecule, water, is made of two hydrogen atoms and an oxygen atom, and has surprising qualities absolutely essential for life to exist. The other life-sustaining component is the element carbon. Carbon atoms have the unique ability to connect in chains with other atoms to make an almost infinite variety of molecules of proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and nucleic acids. No other element has this ability. Yet, naturalists believe the existence of water and carbon just happened by chance — that there was no super genius Creator! Logically, that simply is not a satisfying, or even a rational explanation. Only the Bible offers a sufficient reason why the universe is not composed of just dead rocks.[28] CSe 29.2

“God, you are my God. I am searching so hard to find you. Body and soul, I thirst for you in this dry and weary land without water.” Psalms 63:1 ERV CSe 29.3

God's ways are not as our ways, neither are his thoughts as our thoughts. Human science can never account for his wondrous works.” Ellen White in Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 95.1 CSe 29.4
