If you’re currently in a relationship, it can sometimes be hard to figure out what to do with your partner that’s safe, fun, and God-honoring. Wholesome dating ideas always focus on building meaningful connections, creating memories, and growing together with God as the foundation. CR 113.2

An example of a nice date could be taking a nature walk with your partner and talking about things you love and appreciate about each other. Even without the verbal communication aspect, just walking hand-in-hand while enjoying God’s creation can provide internal peace for both parties, further strengthening the bond. Other ideas include cooking a meal together, volunteering at a local charity or church event, painting, visiting a museum, going horseback riding, or even driving to your city’s closest beach. When thinking about what to do with your significant other, consider faith-based activities like attending a worship service, participating in a Bible study, and praying together. In this way, both partners’ emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth will be nurtured and centered on love, respect, and shared values.9 CR 113.3
