Seventh-day Adventists follow the Biblical injunction to return one-tenth of their income, the tithe, to the Lord. Recently tithe questions have arisen concerning Ellen Whites statements and actions with regard to the tithe. Some, charging the Church with apostasy, have even claimed Ellen White’s support for diverting tithe from established channels. EGWCPT 2.1
