4. Church Expense

“I was shown that it is wrong to use the tithe for defraying the incidental expenses of the church.... You are robbing God every time that you put your hands into the treasury for funds to meet the running expenses of the church.” ²—Counsels on Stewardship, 103. HUT 23.1
