For the Christian, salvation means being redeemed or rescued from sin and its curse of eternal separation from God. It means being restored to a relationship with Jesus Christ. This restoration of humanity with their Creator through His death and resurrection is the universal theme of Scripture. Salvation is experienced by grace through faith. JTLD 36.2
