In Darwinian evolution, all chemical reactions that make a living organism must occur by chance. Imagine an organism with features too complex for random chance to explain. Evolution by natural selection suggests these features arose due to survival or reproductive advantages. But predicting future advantages implies some form of intelligence. CSe 33.2
Remember, an evolutionist believes every genetic change and mutation must happen by chance, without pre-existing intelligence. Yet, a trait perfectly suited for a future environment suggests foresight, indicating an intelligent designer guiding the process. CSe 33.3
The Genesis creation account states that life did not arise by chance. Many modern molecular biologists agree that chance evolution is implausible. While the biblical creation process is beyond our comprehension, it remains the only viable explanation for life’s existence. It wasn’t magic, but the work of a mathematical super Genius who loves us and whose creative power we will never fully understand.[32] CSe 33.4
“By wisdom the Lord laid the foundation of the earth; he established the heavens by understanding.” Proverbs 3:19 NET CSe 33.5
“No amount of reasoning or explanation can tell the whys and wherefores of the creation of the world. It is to be understood by faith in the great creative power.” Ellen White in Letters and Manuscripts, vol. 18, Letter 56, 1903, par. 2 CSe 33.6
Reflect: Why do you think so many find the creation account implausible? CSe 33.7
