Will humanity be genetically engineered by 2060? What do fortune tellers know? Will catastrophe or nuclear war make our planet extinct? CFL 11.2

God wants us to be optimistic about a future with Him, both in our earthly life here, but also for eternity!^[8] Let’s begin looking at the ancient words of Scripture for wisdom that transcends time and answers our questions about the future. CFL 11.3

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV CFL 11.4

“We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history.” Ellen White in Life Sketches, p. 196 CFL 11.5

Reflect: How can you know God’s Word is true about a future life beyond this world? CFL 11.6
