We often relegate sleep to the category of leisure, something we squeeze in after we've accomplished everything else. However, this perception couldn't be further from the truth. Sleep is a fundamental biological need, as essential for our well-being as a balanced diet or consistent exercise. By understanding the multifaceted benefits of sleep, we begin to appreciate its profound impact on every aspect of our existence. From the physical restoration of our bodies to the sharpening of our mental focus and memory, sleep strengthens our entire being. It even plays a role in our emotional and spiritual state, influencing our mood, resilience, and ability to make good choices. When we prioritize sleep, we invest in our overall health and ability to function at our best.[119] CWe 108.2
