Where does Jesus fit into emotional well-being? He’s the Cornerstone (see Ephesians 2:20)![9] When we accept Him as our Lord, Savior, and Substitute,[10] making Him first in our heart, He brings stability, security, love, identity, and redemption into our life. CMH 12.2

When we feel emotionally lost, Jesus is the One who can anchor us. He is the Cornerstone of our well-being, bringing new meaning and purpose to our existence. Just as a cornerstone is essential for a building to stand, Jesus is essential for our emotional well-being. He is the foundation on which we can build a strong and healthy life. CMH 12.3

So, if you are looking for ways to improve your emotional well-being, start by making Jesus your top priority. He will lead you on the path to true happiness and fulfillment. CMH 12.4

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment.” Mark 12:30 CMH 12.5

“Those who in everything make God first and last and best are the happiest people in the world.” Ellen White in My Life Today, p. 161.3 CMH 12.6

Reflect: How could you make Jesus the cornerstone of your emotional well-being? CMH 12.7
