Counsel #26 — Authentic Transformation
Picture: Counsel #26 — Authentic Transformation CMH 108.1
Spending alone time with God isn’t just a habit — it’s where true transformation happens. When you consistently show up for those quiet moments with Him, you’re giving God space to work on your heart, your mindset, and your choices. This is the heart of redemption — not just being forgiven but being made new. CMH 108.2
When this happens, you’ll start seeing things differently. Maybe the old you chased validation from people, got caught up in the drug scene, or chose friends based on popularity, not purpose. As you spend more time with God, the new you begins emerging. You’ll learn to say “no” to distractions without guilt. You’ll choose relationships that fuel your faith. You’ll no longer measure your worth through social media ‘likes’ or by the amount of attention you receive. Most importantly, you will start valuing your life through the lens of what Jesus did for you on the cross, and who He’s calling you to be. Alone time with God isn’t just a spiritual discipline, it’s where the “old” you dies, and the Christ-centered you lives!12 CMH 108.3
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV CMH 108.4
“It is by the renewing of the heart that the grace of God works to transform the life.” Ellen White in God’s Amazing Grace, p. 18 CMH 108.5
