What if the clarity you’re searching for about your future comes not from doing more, but from being still? In the Bible, Moses found that kind of clarity not in a crowd, but alone with God. Whether it was at the burning bush, in the wilderness, or on the mountain, those quiet moments with God were where Moses received direction, strength, and purpose. CMH 103.2
While you may not be called to lead a nation as Moses was, God still invites you into that same kind of personal time with Him. As you intentionally step away from the noise and chaos of today’s culture, allow God to give you wisdom, courage, and direction. Think of it like recharging your soul. Prayer, journaling, reading the Bible, or simply sitting quietly, being mindful of God’s presence can be our burning bushes today. Moses was transformed in quiet places, and you can be too. So, even if you don’t feel like a “Moses,” trust that God wants to meet you, too - right where you are.7 CMH 103.3
“The Lord descended to the top of Mount Sinai and called Moses to the top of the mountain. So Moses went up.” Exodus 19:20 NIV CMH 103.4
“When every other voice is hushed, and in quietness we wait before Him, the silence of the soul makes more distinct the voice of God.” Ellen White in Christian Service , p. 249 CMH 103.5
