To help avoid financial difficulties as a young adult, good stewardship[54] is an essential lifestyle practice. The Bible explains that everything we own is a gift from God, and that it is our duty to treat His resources wisely and responsibly (Matthew 25:14-30). Giving God control over your worries and anxieties is a necessary part of placing your faith in Him, even though it does not mean remaining passive. Make a workable plan to handle your finances and seek wise advice from dependable mentors or financial advisors.[55] Recall that God frequently uses our efforts for His own purposes, so act in faith and confidence knowing that He will direct your steps. “It is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:2 NKJV CMH 52.3

“All should learn how to keep accounts. Some neglect this work as nonessential, but this is wrong. All expenses should be accurately stated.” Ellen White in The Adventist Home, p. 374 CMH 52.4

Reflect: Considering the biblical principles of stewardship and the challenges faced by young adults financially, how can you actively demonstrate responsible financial management while maintaining trust and dependence on God's guidance? Can you identify ways to improve your financial management?[56] CMH 52.5
