The statement "Jesus is Sovereign" affirms that Jesus has absolute authority and power over everything, including our mental health, financial situations, and any challenges we face. CMH 51.2

Recognizing Jesus' sovereignty allows us to shift our focus away from the limitations of our circumstances and toward God's limitless power. Even during financial difficulties, we can find peace and trust if we internalize the phrase "Nothing is too big for God."^[52] CMH 51.3

In this set of counsels, we will discuss stewardship, justice, and hope amid financial stress, as well as practical tips for coping and "digging out" of debt.^[53] CMH 51.4
