Promoting God’s kingdom as a couple starts with simple, intentional actions that reflect your faith in everyday life. You can always begin by praying together, asking for guidance in your relationship and for opportunities to serve others. Reading the Bible as a couple and discussing how to apply the principles in your daily lives can also deepen your spiritual connection. CR 122.2
Consider serving together in practical ways, like volunteering at your church, organizing a food drive, or supporting local charities. For example, you could help with a children’s ministry, visit the elderly, or participate in a community cleanup. These acts of service will not only spread God’s love but also deepen your bond with your partner as you work toward a shared mission (Bonus: You will learn a lot about your partner in the process!) You can also encourage others by being open about your faith. Share your testimony as a couple and mentor younger couples or individuals who are struggling to navigate their singleness. By applying these simple, practical steps, your relationship can become a living example of God’s love and intention for the world.21 CR 122.3
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 NIV CR 122.4
“Evangelism, the very heart of Christianity, is the theme of primary importance to those called to herald God's last warning to a doomed world.” Ellen White in Evangelism , p. 1 CR 122.5
