Counsel #26 — Power of Liberation

Picture: Counsel #26 — Power of Liberation CR 94.1

Communication plays a powerful role in liberation, giving people a voice to express their thoughts, experiences, and desires for freedom. Throughout history, words have sparked movements, challenged injustice, and united communities in the pursuit of change. When people communicate openly and truthfully, they expose oppression and advocate for the dignity and rights of others. CR 94.2

In a Christian context, communication and liberation go hand in hand. Jesus used His words to confront religious hypocrisy, uplift the marginalized, and bring spiritual freedom. Today, effective communication continues to empower individuals and communities. Whether through peaceful protests, storytelling, advocacy, or open dialogue, speaking out against injustice creates opportunities for healing and growth. As Christians, we are called to use our words to defend the voiceless, stand for truth, and promote reconciliation. By choosing to communicate with courage and compassion, we can become instruments of liberation in a world longing for justice and peace.19 CR 94.3

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 NIV CR 94.4
