What if your church could be more than just a place you go on Sabbath? What if it became a place where you actually belong? Whether you’re a part of a young adult group or a mixed-age Sabbath school class, these groups often become like family as you grow together. CR 43.2

If you enjoy working with kids, helping with children’s ministry is a great way to connect. You’ll not only bond with the children, but also with parents, caregivers, and fellow leaders who share your heart for service. Serving in this way helps you develop leadership skills and grow in patience and love, all while building a network of people who care about the same things you do. Additionally, there are the potlucks, socials, and volunteer opportunities that bring everyone together in a more relaxed setting. From shared meals to serving side-by-side, these moments build connection beyond the pews. When you engage in your church community, you’re not just attending - you’re growing and thriving with people who are walking alongside God, too.[43] CR 43.3

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 NIV CR 43.4

“The church, enfeebled and defective though it be, is the only object on earth on which Christ bestows His supreme regard.” Ellen White in Last Day Events, p. 58 CR 43.5

Reflect: What role do you have in your church? CR 43.6
