What would someone notice if they walked into your home for a week? The background noise of the kids playing video games? A busy schedule taped to the fridge? Would they see moments where your family slowed down to meet with God together in worship? CR 219.2

Family worship doesn’t have to be complicated or formal. It can be a simple prayer before school, a verse read around the dinner table, or a quiet Scripture song sung with the kids before bed. The goal isn’t to impress God, but rather to invite Him into your real life and plans. Unlike what many people believe, worship isn’t just a Sabbath activity. It’s shown in the way we live, talk, parent, and even correct each other. You don’t need a theology degree to be consistent and sincere in your worship life. If your family is new to the faith, don’t get discouraged if worship doesn’t feel right at first! Your kids may squirm or roll their eyes now during prayer, but they’ll remember the peaceful atmosphere you set in worship, making your home holy ground.^[230] CR 219.3

Reflect: Is worship woven into your daily life, or is God only invited in occasionally? CR 219.6
