The Voice of God

When the trumpet sounded long and loud upon Sinai, “Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.” 4 Then God spake all the words of the ten commandments “out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice; and He added no more.” 5 In like manner, “our God shall come, and shall not keep silence; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about Him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people.” 7 “The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God.” EVCO 285.3

But herein the Lord’s coming to judgment will be greater than His coming to proclaim His law: EVCO 285.4

for then none of the people saw Him. EVCO 287.1
