Elder Haskell and Wife:

I have been very busy all the time since I have been at home. I think it is now time for you to begin work again in Southern California. Elder Reaser seems to be greatly pleased that he has nearly cleared the school in Fernando from debt. He has tried his ruling power upon Elder Burden, but he is not the man that can submit to be ruled. He is a man that will be steadfast and will serve the Lord with all humility of mind. I have been hoping that you would be present at our meeting to be held in Los Angeles the last of this month. 22LtMs, Lt 320, 1907, par. 1

Cannot you manage to arrange with Brother Henry Kellogg, who is dealing in presses, to obtain a small press to be operated in an inexpensive way at Loma Linda, that in our important meetings the subjects can be copied on hand presses and the sermons and lessons given distributed? This would fasten matters in the minds of the hearers. I wish you could talk with Brother Henry Kellogg and see if he cannot advise you in this matter. I would like you to make your way to Los Angeles just as soon as possible. I think you are needed here on the field of battle. All we have to do is to keep the aggressive, not to take the objective arguments and present them. I want to see you in the work here.
