“THE ABIDING SPIRIT.”

L. A. HOOPES

This is the title of a little volume of 316 pages, written by Mrs. S. M. I. Henry, which is just issued. The book is worthy a careful study by every one. It is of a most practical character, and has to do with the every-day happenings which make up our lives. A study of the book will lead the searcher for truth to what the abiding Spirit will do for a person in every station in life. GCB January 1, 1899, page 31.12

The book leads the reader to the word of God. To use the author’s own words, “The word of God, wherever uttered, is always a vehicle for the Holy Spirit.” Every test must be made by the word. GCB January 1, 1899, page 31.13

We have been asked by those not of our faith, what publication we have that would give a brief, yet concise view of the office and operation of the Holy Spirit. We are glad that we can say, We have “The Abiding Spirit,” which answers these questions. GCB January 1, 1899, page 31.14

The book may be obtained from all State tract societies. GCB January 1, 1899, page 31.15
