THE FIRST-DAY OFFERING

This is so called because it is a voluntary offering made every first day of the week. Each person is to give as the Lord hath prospered him, and the object of the offering is wholly for foreign missions. This is paid to the library of the church, and is sent by him to the secretary of the State Tract and Missionary Society. MBC94 10.3
