Mary had been at the Battle Creek Sanitarium for two months; she was now on her way west with her family, bound for St. Helena and Ellen White's cottage, Iliel, close to the Rural Health Retreat. Ellen White would return to her Healdsburg home, not far from the college. But first she would attend two camp meetings, and then the General Conference session. She reached the West Coast while the Oakland camp meeting was in progress and joined in the work there. In November she attended a camp meeting in Los Angeles. 3BIO 375.7
