23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, 365DGSP 267.2

24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 365DGSP 267.3

25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: 365DGSP 267.4

26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. 365DGSP 267.5

27 And last of all the woman died also. 365DGSP 267.6

28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. 365DGSP 267.7

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 365DGSP 267.8

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 365DGSP 267.9

31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 365DGSP 267.10

32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 365DGSP 267.11

25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. 365DGSP 267.21

26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? 365DGSP 267.22

34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 365DGSP 267.32

35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 365DGSP 267.33

36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 365DGSP 267.34

37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 365DGSP 267.35

38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. 365DGSP 267.36
