The ancient prophet Amos calls each of us to “Prepare to meet thy God!” We are to be as salt of the earth and light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16), making the most of our talents to promote His kingdom of grace. John the Baptist prepared the way for Christ’s first advent and ministry. Likewise, His followers today are called to prepare others for His Second Advent—proclaiming with humility and love the urgent messages of the three angels of Revelation 14. In the time left before the great day of the Lord, let’s seek His Spirit to give victory in our pursuit of holiness and power to our witness. JTLD 90.2
