Jesus was a faithful seventh-day Sabbath keeper. In fact, Scripture refers to the seventh-day Sabbath as the Lord’s Day. Jesus expected His disciples to still be keeping the Sabbath at the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., an event thirty-five years after His death. After His resurrection, Jesus’ disciples continued to observe the seventh-day Sabbath. JTLD 70.2
