God, omniscient and eternal, knew that earthlings would revolt and become estranged from heaven. But He was prepared with a plan that would ultimately bring about the moral security of the universe. His objectives include: JTLD 210.2

1. To clear the character, law, and government of God from all false charges.
2. To reaffirm the loyalty of unfallen intelligent creation.
3. To provide salvation to all sinners who respond to Heaven’s invitation to accept the Creator’s merciful lordship.
4. To destroy Satan and his rebel angels and unrepentant sinners, and to erase all the effects of sin by restoring the earth to its perfect condition and the universe to its original harmony.
