Sometimes we think we’ve “done our duty” if we just go sit on a padded bench for an hour a week and passively worship the Lord. But the Word of God shows us heaven’s ideal for church life, to worship Him with joy in spirit and in truth (see John 4:23, 24) and invite others to share the Good News of the gospel.^[121] CCL 91.2

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘….Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:19, 20 NKJV CCL 91.3
