Through Jesus' perfect life, His suffering, death, and miraculous resurrection, God offers humanity a path to redemption. This act of atonement^[24] and sacrifice, freely given by Jesus, allows those who believe in Him to receive forgiveness and eternal life.^[25] It's a powerful demonstration of God's boundless love that both exposes the depth of human sin and offers a way back to Him. Jesus' death serves a dual purpose: it upholds the justness of God's law, while also revealing His incredible grace and mercy. By dying on the cross, Jesus took the punishment for our sin, offering reconciliation and a chance to transform our lives. Furthermore, His physical resurrection signifies God's victory over evil and death, which can also be our victory. Finally, the resurrection establishes Jesus' rightful place as Lord and King, deserving the respect and worship of all creation.^[26] CCL 19.2
