Anytime God makes something beautiful, Satan provides a counterfeit. He opposes the 7th-day Sabbath and masterminded a catastrophic attempt to change in God’s Law. The book of Daniel^[107] describes a figure, often interpreted as the papacy, who attempts to "change times and law." The Apostle Paul mentions a similar concept of a "man of sin" who would elevate himself above God (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4). These ideas can be seen as complementary: a power seeking to be seen as superior to God, alters God’s Ten Commandment laws — one way to achieve that.^[108] CCW 79.2

Consider this: If you observe Sunday as a day of worship (a counterfeit day which is a departure from true biblical faith), whose will are you honoring, God’s or humanity’s? CCW 79.3
