“If you're not ready when your name comes up in the judgment, too bad!” Growing up, this idea repeatedly sparked fear in me. Thoughts like, “What if I slip up?” or “Is it already too late?” often caused concern. I needed this good news: no matter how far you've drifted from God, the very inclination to seek Him is proof He is there. If it was game over, nobody would feel drawn to God. God's promises are sure. Keep letting Him lead, and He will never leave you.^[95] CCW 70.2
