Activity attributed to a power outside the realm of science, or the laws of nature can be classed as “supernatural.”^[65] Christians believe that the supernatural is real and that believers can communicate with the heavenly realms through prayer to God. The Bible teaches that both God and Satan can perform miracles, that God’s angels can intervene in human affairs, and that demons can possess people who are not choosing to live under God’s protection. Christians also believe that there is an afterlife, a heaven to win by the grace of Christ and a consuming hell where people who have not accepted Christ will be judged for their sins. CSe 64.2
