If each person consistently made healthy choices that honor God, there would be a greatly reduced need for health care. In an ideal world, if someone did need health care services, they would have ready access to excellent care regardless of their income, race, employment status or health history. CSI 129.2

Ideally, human beings would focus on maintaining optimum physical and spiritual health to prevent illness and injury, rather than just a pharmaceutical or technological response to illness motivated by greed. Healthcare providers would be caring and compassionate, and treatment would be integrated with other social and spiritual services, such as housing, moral education, and employment.[178] CSI 129.3

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV CSI 129.4

“True physicians… recognize their responsibility not only to the sick who are under their direct care but also to the communities in which they live. They stand as guardians of both physical and moral health…[to] not only teach right methods for the treatment of the sick but to encourage right habits of living and to spread a knowledge of right principles.” Ellen White in The Ministry of Health and Healing, p. 61 CSI 129.5
