Climate activists such as Greta Thunberg, Elon Musk, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, David Attenborough, Pope Francis, Catherine McKenna, Carlos Manuel Rodriguez, and others vigorously protest the exploitation of natural resources. Although transitioning to renewable energy, reducing carbon emissions, and conserving water are definitive steps countries and individuals can take to decrease the effects of climate change, are these things the only cause of natural disasters and environmental loss?^[158] CSI 108.2
