Counsel #7 — Sustainable Practices

Picture: Counsel #7 — Sustainable Practices CSI 104.1

Living a faith-filled life extends beyond the walls of a church. Environmental practices, like supporting sustainable agriculture, choosing eco-friendly products, and minimizing single-use plastics, become expressions of our faith. These informed choices reflect a deep respect for God's creation. The Earth, teeming with life and resources, is a gift entrusted to our care. By taking action, big or small, we become responsible stewards, leaving a positive impact on the world around us. In essence, our sustainable practices become a mirror reflecting the character of our Creator. He is a God who cares for all He has made, and by aligning our actions with this care, we embody the very essence of faithful stewardship.[155] CSI 104.2

“I brought you into a bountiful country, to eat its fruit and its goodness. But when you entered, you defiled My land and made My heritage an abomination.” Jeremiah 2:7 NKJV CSI 104.3

“Men were to cooperate with God in restoring the diseased land to health, that it might be a praise and a glory to His name.” Ellen White in SDA Bible Commentary, vol. 1, p. 1112 CSI 104.4
