Being a follower of Jesus is about showing compassion and kindness to people who might be having a tough time; who may be kinda left out or struggling in society. It’s the Holy Spirit that puts in our hearts empathy and care for others. CSI 18.2
One way to really make a difference is by using our time and resources to lend a hand to those who need it most. We realize life isn’t just about stacking up personal wins, but about lifting others up along the way. So, instead of only chasing after our own goals, we look around and see who we can help out. CSI 18.3
Compassion in action includes valuing and looking after others and being inclusive. It’s all about spreading joy and making people feel loved. Being a true Christian isn’t just about saying nice words; it’s about actually doing nice things. We need to treat others with love, like Jesus did, no matter who they are.[43] CSI 18.4
