Picture: Counsel #5 — Use Responsibly CLi 52.1

In addition to yesterday’s tips, there are other things that can be done to promote responsible cell phone use. For example, schools, homes, and businesses can implement policies that limit cell phone use during class or work hours. Restaurants, churches, public transportation, and other public places can post suggestions or policies limiting or curtailing cell phone use.[47] CLi 52.2

Parents can talk to their children about the importance of responsible cell phone use and set rules for phone use in the home. CLi 52.3

Most importantly, each of us can choose to be role models by using our phones responsibly ourselves. CLi 52.4

“Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.” Colossians 4:5 NKJV CLi 52.5

”Our words, our acts, our dress, our deportment, even the expression of the countenance, has an influence…. Every impulse thus imparted is seed sown which will produce its harvest…. If by our example we aid others in the development of good principles, we give them power to do good. In their turn they exert the same influence upon others, and they upon still others. Thus by our unconscious influence thousands may be blessed.” Ellen White in My Life Today, p. 121 CLi 52.6
