Shortly before the close of human probation, the seal of God will be placed upon those who keep the Sabbath of the fourth commandment. The beloved of God will be protected by mighty angel guardians during the time of trouble and seven last plagues.[67] CFL 71.2
“’They shall be Mine,’” says the Lord of hosts, ‘on the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.’ Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.” Malachi 3:17, 18 NKJV CFL 71.3
“God would not suffer the wicked to destroy those who were expecting translation, and who would not bow to the decree of the beast or receive his mark. I saw that if the wicked were permitted to slay the saints, Satan and all his evil host, all who hate God, would be gratified.… Those who have mocked at the idea of the saints’ going up will witness the care of God for His people, and behold their glorious deliverance.”Ellen White in Early Writings, p. 284 CFL 71.4
