If you’re struggling with sleep or finding it difficult to go to bed on time, consider establishing a consistent sleep schedule. Following a regular sleep routine each night can improve overall health by boosting energy levels, reducing stress, and alleviating fatigue. CWe 127.2
Going to bed at the same time every night and getting a steady amount of sleep enhances alertness, focus, and decision-making skills, while also lowering the risk of injuries and accidents. CWe 127.3
To build a consistent sleep schedule, develop a relaxing nighttime routine tailored to your preferences and environment. For example, taking a warm bath, reading an inspirational book, or lighting a candle in a dimly lit room can help create a calming atmosphere. Practicing this routine each night not only highlights the value of consistency but also promotes self-care, setting you up for a restful and rejuvenating sleep experience.[138] CWe 127.4
“I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.” Psalms 3:5, 6 NIV CWe 127.5
