One of the most effective ways to extend your life expectancy is by living an active lifestyle. By working out regularly, you can diminish the chance of premature death by enhancing your cardiovascular health, lowering your blood pressure, and reducing the chances you’ll suffer from some chronic disease or ailment such as heart disease, stroke, or diabetes. Even if one part of your body is incapacitated due to accident or disease, look for ways to move the stronger parts of your body. CWe 95.2

In terms of weight management, consistent physical activity reduces the risk of obesity-related conditions such as cancer and joint deterioration. Over the years, research studies have shown that even little to moderate exercise, such as taking a daily 30-minute walk, can add a significant number of years to your life. Overall, exercising regularly will help to promote a better metabolism while also encouraging the release of endorphins, which act against stress and inflammation — the primary factors of aging and disease.[107] By being active, you will be able to better control the body God gave you, maximizing the years you have to fulfill His purpose for you to have a meaningful, vibrant life.
