Do you ever think about the eye of the Lord looking over all the earth to see who trusts Him (see 2 Chronicles 16:9)? Good parents long for their children to love and trust them. So it is with God.^[6] His heart longs for His children to believe what He says, trust His promises, and lean on Him like a child leans on a beloved father. CWe 8.2

We do not need to be worried whether our trust in God is strong enough to withstand the great distress God’s people will soon experience; if we trust Him now, we will trust Him then. CWe 8.3

“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.” Nahum 1:7 NKJV CWe 8.4
