Love and unity are at the heart of the Christian faith, and because we believe that God’s love is unconditional, we’re called to reflect that same love in how we treat others - especially those who don’t share our beliefs. Before Jesus ascended back to heaven, He commanded his followers to show the love of God to others - a command still applicable to us today. CWe 28.2

Instead of focusing on others’ flaws, Christians should aim to be one in body, like parts of an orchestra working together to bring about harmony. This doesn’t mean we all must think or act the same, but it means supporting each other and staying connected by a shared purpose: to make the world better through compassion.^[28] Whenever it’s difficult to show love to someone seemingly “unlovable,” reflect on the words of our Savior: “But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High…”^[29] CWe 28.3
