God loves beauty! He elaborately decorated the earth and sky in amazing ways, and like a proud parent, He enjoys seeing His children appreciate what He created. So, He loves when you bring that natural beauty into your home environment. Even folks in the country with little money can create a grassy patch, plant some shade trees, or add flowering bushes for fragrance. This is way more effective at boosting happiness than any designer decorations. Nature softens and refines the atmosphere in your home, strengthens your connection to the outdoors, and brings everyone closer — both to each other and to God.^[175] CWe 165.2
