As the personal Representative of Jesus in our lives, the Holy Spirit offers us comfort, support, solace and strength through the ups and downs of our spiritual journey. However, we can’t receive the power, influence, and support of the Holy Spirit if our hearts are self-righteous and filled with a sense of our own importance. God will support us through His Spirit if we humble ourselves to receive instruction in the mysteries of heaven. He will help us become sensitive to the lightest whisper of the Spirit.^[83] CSL 125.2

“I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
