If you accept the God of peace as Lord of all your life, He will sanctify^[61] you completely.^[62] In that process, God will help you learn to love His law. You will begin to see in it the goodness and mercy of Jesus who wants to lift you above the power of your natural desires, addictions, and tendencies which destroy your peace.^[63] CSL 62.2

The law is an expression of God’s heart. As you receive it through Christ, it transforms your thinking and becomes a part of your heart. You understand as never before that there is no peace in wrongdoing and long to be in harmony with heaven. You see that the enduring principles of righteousness found in the law are actually a shield from the guilt and unrest that result from bad choices. CSL 62.3
