Counsel #17 — Conquering With Grace

What happens when the body or mind doesn’t cooperate with the image of femininity you’ve been taught to embrace? Maybe it’s the ache of infertility that makes you question your womanhood. Or, maybe it’s chronic pain, fatigue, or depression that leaves you feeling less capable, less radiant, or just less "put together." CI 117.2
Even past trauma, PTSD, or anxiety can still stick with you through your everyday life, directly stealing your peace and confidence. If these are things you’re struggling with, know that you’re not alone. Our world often links femininity to beauty, energy, motherhood, or emotional balance. So, when physical or emotional struggles enter the picture, it’s easy to feel like you’ve lost something essential. To avoid getting stuck in the brokenness, Jesus must be at the center of your life. After all, He understands suffering firsthand. The cross wasn’t only about saving souls, but also to experience the full depth of human pain. While modern medicine and therapy are valuable, comfort and total wellness await on the other side of eternity. Your brokenness is not a disqualification - it’s a place where grace rushes in.[118] CI 117.3
