While self-esteem based on God's love provides a solid foundation, it is only the beginning of something greater. Remember those moments when you felt truly seen and valued? Maybe it was a time someone offered genuine support to you or perhaps you witnessed the impact of your own kindness on another. That warm glow, that sense of purpose — that’s the essence of a Christ-centered self-identity blossoming into action. CI 87.2
We can’t just bask in the comfort of God’s love alone; we need to let that love overflow and touch the lives of others. Recognize your unique gifts and talents not as trophies of self-aggrandizement, but as tools entrusted by God to make a difference for others.[85] CI 87.3
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 NKJV CI 87.4
“In all your transactions with your fellow men, never forget that you are dealing with God’s property. Be kind; be [pitying]; be courteous. Respect God’s purchased possession. Treat one another with tenderness and courtesy. Exert every God given faculty to become examples to others.” Ellen White in Amazing Grace, p. 65 CI 87.5
