Counsel #2 — Presence Of God

In the Christian faith, mindfulness is deeply intertwined with the concept of God’s presence in all aspects of life, as well as a state of being fully engaged in the here and now. Jesus Christ exemplified this mindful approach, encouraging His followers to "consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin" (Matthew 6:28). By observing the beauty and simplicity of nature, Jesus encouraged His disciples to let go of worries and anxieties and focus on the power and presence of God in the immediate moment.[51] CI 51.2

“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalms 16:11 NKJV CI 51.3

“Trust yourself in the hands of Jesus. Do not worry. Do not think God has forgotten to be gracious. Jesus lives and will not leave you. May the Lord be your staff, your support, your front guard, your rearward.” Ellen White in Selected Messages, vol. 2, p. 248 CI 51.4
