A soulmate who is approved by God will always be a devoted follower of Christ. They will consistently aim to grow in their love for Him and to keep all ten of His commandments as a response to God’s grace in his or her life.^[68] Look for signs that the person you are considering is an active, growing Christian, not a nominal Christian who really knows little or nothing about God’s love and what it means to be a follower of Him.  CR 70.2

Don’t “missionary date!” In other words, don’t fall for Satan’s lie that God has called you to evangelize a non-Christian by dating her or him.  Pray for them—from a distance! CR 70.3

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers…. what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?” 2 Corinthians 6:14, 15 NKJV CR 70.4

“To connect yourself with an unbeliever is to place yourself on Satan’s ground. You grieve the Spirit of God and forfeit His protection. Can you afford to have such terrible odds against you in fighting the battle for everlasting life?” Ellen White in Messages to Young People, p. 441 CR 70.5
