Going above and beyond to help your peers is a meaningful way to show kindness and build stronger relationships. Whether it’s offering to explain a confusing homework assignment, helping a classmate carry their books, or simply listening when someone needs support, these small acts of service can have a big impact.6 CR 15.2

Jesus exemplified this spirit of service during His earthly ministry. Through His actions, He washed His disciples’ feet, fed thousands who were hungry, healed the sick, and always prioritized the needs of the people--even people who criticized Him and wanted Him dead! His example should encourage us to care for others, offering service and support to the most vulnerable and needy populations. By making kindness a habit, you reflect God’s love and inspire others to do the same, creating a community of care, selflessness, sacrifice, and support — just as God always intended. CR 15.3

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 NIV CR 15.4

“If you will go to work as Christ designs that His disciples shall, and win souls for Him, you will feel the need of a deeper experience and a greater knowledge in divine things, and will hunger and thirst after righteousness. You will plead with God, and your faith will be strengthened, and your soul will drink deeper drafts at the well of salvation.” Ellen White in Steps to Christ, p. 80 CR 15.5

Reflect: How often do you serve others? CR 15.6
