Who was Ellen White?

Imagine a woman in the 1800s, facing limited education due to illness, who becomes a leading voice in a new religious movement and a best-selling author — translated into over 160 languages! Yet, at 17, she began receiving supernatural visions that focused on the importance of Jesus and the ongoing struggle between good and evil. Driven by her faith and the call of God, White penned prolifically. Despite her lack of formal education, she addressed topics like health, equality, faith, relationships, ecology, education, and evangelism. Her writings, emphasizing God’s love, resonate deeply. Though she never attended college, she authored thousands of articles and over 50 books. She’s is the most-translated American author of all time, and her works continue to inspire millions, even beyond the Adventist community. The Smithsonian Institution recognizes Ellen White as one of the 100 Most Significant Americans of All Time. JTLIn 4.3

One of her most notable contributions is the “The Conflict of the Ages” series. This five-volume work explores the grand narrative of the Bible, from war in heaven to creation's dawn, to the fall of man, to the complete triumph of Christ over Satan, ending with a peek into eternity. It's a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes of major biblical events. The structure of each lesson is predefined. The statement of belief is given in the first section, followed by 12 questions that will assist you understanding what the Bible says on the topic. Each question is divided into three sections. An opening paragraph outlines the topic being investigated. The second part takes you through multiple scriptural citations in the Bible Discover section. This is done to allow the Bible to answer the question itself. The final further readings section includes one or two quotes from Ellen White's works that reinforces the Biblical passages.
